Privacy Policy

When you use ExamCoach we collect:

• Email address — used to create your account and send optional study reminders.
• Quiz history — which questions you answered and whether you got them right, so we can surface your weak areas.
• Study notes — text and images you upload to the Notes tab. These are stored securely and used only to generate quiz questions for you.
• Study plan — your exam date and daily study preferences.
• Usage events — anonymous signals like "quiz started" to help us understand how the app is used. No personal content is attached.

• To personalise your quiz questions and study plan.
• To send you optional study reminders by email (you can turn these off at any time inside the app).
• To improve ExamCoach — aggregated, anonymised usage patterns only.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except the infrastructure providers listed below.

• Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com)
• Anthropic — AI model provider. Your quiz questions and notes content are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic's data usage policy applies (anthropic.com/privacy).
• Vercel — hosting and edge functions (vercel.com)
• Upstash — rate-limiting (no personal data stored, only request counts keyed to your user ID)

Your account data is kept as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@myexamcoach.app and we will remove your data within 30 days.

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

You can request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, or ask us to delete your account at any time. Email us at hello@myexamcoach.app.

If we make material changes to this policy we will notify you by email or by a notice in the app.
